_{Kindergarten and First grades- "My Dotted World" unit}

first grade circle free draw activity — After discovering Yayoi Kusama's work and who she is, students practiced drawing circles and dots like the artist.

Yayoi Kusama pumpkin with dots inspired drawing practice. — Kindergarten and first grade practiced drawing circles and dots after looking at Yayoi Kusama's art. They are currently drawing her famous polka dotted pumpkins.

_{Second and Third grades- Mural line drawings unit}

Mural line drawings by students in Ms. Grant's class. — Second and Third grade students planned where they would place their 30 striped lines. They have to have minimum three colors and three various types of lines with their lines touching in order to create their mural line drawings.

4th and 5th grade portraits — 4th and 5th grade are exploring drawing facial features and in proportion.

Students are exploring various techniques with chalk pastels. — Students first explored various techniques with chalk pastels.

_{5th Grade MAJORS}

Artworks of teacher and fifth grade student's black & white still life drawings, 3D form with a shadow and light source, and a value scale. — Students explored ebony, HB, and 4B graphite pencils by creating a value scale that would later help them with a black and white pencil drawing. Students then practiced drawing the form in 3D while also adding a shadow, cast shadow, tone, and a highlight for the light source. Students continued practicing black and white still life drawing in three class days.
