My Bio

Hello

My name is Mrs. Castillo and I have been teaching at PS 49 for 8 years.  I attended Lehman College in the Bronx and received a BA in History with a minor in education.  I also have a MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

I enjoy reading history books  because I can visit other places and learn about past events and other cultures.  In the summer, I like the beach and exercising, especially walking.  I hope that this will be a wonderful year.

Mi nombre es Sra. Castillo y he estado enseñando en PS 49 durante 8 años. Asistí a Lehman College en el Bronx y obtuve una licenciatura en Historia con especialización en educación. También tengo una Maestría en Enseñanza de Inglés para Hablantes de Otros Idiomas (TESOL) y una Maestría en Educación en Liderazgo Educativo de la Universidad Grand Canyon.

Disfruto leer libros de historia  porque puedo visitar otros lugares y aprender sobre eventos pasados ​​y otras culturas. En verano me gusta la playa y hacer ejercicio, especialmente caminar. Espero que este sea un año maravilloso.
